Today is the first day of the month and this month is Midsummer, the Sabbath that marks the high point in the year. The sun will be at it's strongest but it's going to start weakening in strength. Of course it doesn't feel like it when it's boiling hot and you wonder when fall will come. The Holly King and the Oak King duel and the Oak king wins the right until Yule. This holiday is also known as Alban Heruin and it's one of the four traditional Celtic holidays that the Celts observed.
However, the Summer Solstice has become a huge part of most people's lives and is celebrated all over the world. Have a good one.
